  • You can check a patient’s PHN by calling Alberta Health’s IVR number 780.422.6257
  • You can use Netcare to confirm a patient’s PHN
  • Contact the patient to confirm their PHN
  • For new patients you may consider scanning a copy of their health care card and keeping a copy in their electronic chart.
